    Smoke Blasters

Gender reveal smoke blasters are built for big outdoor moments. Where a handheld smoke cannon sends a concentrated burst of colour upward, a smoke blaster fires a powerful horizontal spray that creates a wide wall of colour. The effect reads clearly from 20 metres away and photographs well even in challenging light conditions.

Our smoke blasters come in two sizes: the Mini Blaster for backyard and park reveals, and the Mega Blaster for larger outdoor events where maximum visual impact is the goal. Both models fire coloured holi powder in either pink or blue.

If you are coordinating a group reveal with multiple people firing at the same time, our blaster bundles are the practical choice. The twin, quad, and mega combo bundles include multiple blasters and cannons preselected to deliver a simultaneous reveal without the guesswork of building your own kit.

Smoke blasters are outdoor only products. They are designed for open air settings: backyards, parks, beaches, and sporting fields. The holi powder disperses within seconds and settles cleanly. Always ensure bystanders are standing to the side or behind the unit, not in the direct line of fire.

One important note: smoke blasters contain corn flour based holi powder, which is flammable. Despite their shape resembling a fire extinguisher, they do not put out fire. Keep all smoke blasters well away from open flames, lit candles, gas burners, barbecues, and any other heat source. Never use near an open flame.

Common Questions About Gender Reveal Smoke Blasters

What is the difference between a smoke cannon and a smoke blaster?
A smoke cannon is a standard handheld tube that fires powder upward in a burst. A smoke blaster fires a much larger horizontal spray of holi powder and is designed for maximum outdoor visual impact. Blasters are larger, louder, and produce a wider spread of colour than standard cannons.

    Are smoke blasters flammable?
Yes. Smoke blasters contain corn flour based holi powder, which is flammable. Despite resembling a fire extinguisher in shape and size, they do not extinguish fire. Never use near open flames, lit candles, gas burners, or barbecues. Always use outdoors in a clear, open area away from any heat source.

Can I use a smoke blaster indoors?
No. Smoke blasters are outdoor only products. The powder volume is too large for indoor use, and the flammable contents make enclosed spaces with any ignition sources unsafe.

Do smoke blasters arrive ready to use or do I need to fill them?
All smoke blasters arrive already loaded with holi powder. No filling or preparation is needed. Set up at your reveal location, aim in a safe direction, and fire.

    What colour options are available?
Smoke blasters are available in pink and blue, the standard gender reveal colours. The colour is loaded and sealed at the factory. You select your colour at checkout.

Can I combine smoke blasters with confetti cannons?
Yes. Our bundles pair blasters with confetti cannons for a layered reveal. The blaster fires the coloured cloud while the cannons add paper or metallic confetti on top of it. The combined effect creates a very full, cinematic reveal moment that looks excellent on video.
